How Octa Started
In 2010, Kevin Prometheus Trotsky, known as Pro, was performing at a live event, hunched over a laptop. The first iPad had just arrived. He wanted a way to put a screen where he could see and use it without leaning over it.
Octa grew from that idea: tablet holders, arms, and bases that connect together.
How the Parts Work
Spider holds the tablet. MonkeyTail bends and coils for use in bed or on a couch. Bridge and Bridge 360 connect the holder to a base: Clamp for a desk edge or rail, Gravity Plate for a tabletop, Wall Mount for a wall, or Vacuum Dock for a smooth surface.
You can buy the parts separately or start with a kit. If you need to use your tablet somewhere else, change the base or arm instead of replacing the whole stand.
